Just a tip for you if you've had an accident in the last 3 years, try and start your policy after the claim date. It saved me about 30% by starting my policy the day after my claim date from 3 years ago when I put my MR2 GTS turbo into a tree.

I just can't ride it for about a week and hope it doesn't get stolen in these few days but saved me a nice amount of money.

That's probably because it was only 'one' of your accidents rather than the 'only one'!

Doesn't help when your accident was February 2013 ;)

    Ouch.

I'd already got a new business quote from Carole Nash at £1800 so knew it wouldn't be cheap, but I really wasn't expecting that.

    Full bike license 20 years, 3 points and i'm 40. :(
