K&N air filter

    Hi all,
    i've wanted to add a K&N air filter in my 12 Blade (together with PC and exhaust). However i've been reading in some blogs that the OM K&N air filter makes no difference and in some cases it results in power loss. Has anybody got any experience with it or any dyno runs with and without it ?

    I don't have any supporting evidence but have read a lot about this.
    I would summarise by saying don't bother, the OE filter is fine.
    If you must change it, get a BMC, which is reported as giving good results on CBR1000s.
    All IMO, as usual :)

    I had the K&N filter added, Bazzaz abd TC and set up on the dyno. I had a good deal so went with it and got it set up for the filter at the same time
