Anybody used K&N Oil Filters ???

Demon Tweeks sell them for £7.83 delivered and the OEM Honda one's are £11.50 plus I have to go to the dealers which is a bit of a hassle.

I would'nt fancy using a cheap non branded filter but suspect K&N should be decent quality, any comments ?

The talk on 1000rr.net has always been that the BMC filter (n.b. road & race versions available) is the best aftermarket one for the blade. I had one on my 06 and it made a nice noise, don't know about any other effect.

I like the nut on the end. I can usually nearly get the filter tight enough by hand just needs a little nip with spanner. The nut makes oil filter removal very easy!
