At the moment looking at the bikes I like and narrowing it down. Money, waiting time etc I and pretty sure I'm going for the H2. Went to my local dealer and had a sit on one. Asked questions. My mate who wanted my Blade is unable to get the money at the moment so May try and sell private (on here etc..) or just Part Ex the bike with the dealer. Back down to the dealer this week and find out how much a part ex would be. Then start stripping the bike of it mods. Sorting money and then putting down my deposit on the H2 if all goes well Excited. Oh yea
Loonatic! Have you had a go on one yet? Did I read getting insurance was a nightmare, have you had a quote?
Lovely bike and loved how custom it was. Just that it's a lot more money. No fairing which I really wanted. and 6-9 months waiting list as for insurance for the H2 yea I have a quote and going to call a few other places for more prices. Not hard to get just need to find the company's that will insure you
Think the insurance companies will take the piss on the H2 just because of the turbo/supercharger when in reality it's not much different to having a 1400cc power wise its just more exclusive
Have you seen the 65 reg H2 on Ebay with only 21 miles, £19500 (£2500 off list)? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-H2-/201504047702 I'd be interested in the insurance quotes - maybe it is just the motorcycle press exaggerating and they are not too expensive to insure?
Martin doesn't like them as he couldn't catch the one on the way to kens last year Sorry mate couldn't resist!
If i approached you with some ear plugs mate, you'd have that H2 and obliterate it. Scared....i should fakking think so dude......
That ebay Ad says the Dealer is selling on behalf of the original customer! Not a great Ad for the Bike considering it has only 21 miles on the clock? He must have hated it to fek it off that quick!
How can you hate something after 21 miles... More like he was just a pussy and sold it cos his mrs got the hump and demanded a new hand bag My pal just bought a new r1 with 87 miles on the clock!!!! Cheap cheap See bikes all the time less than 500 miles yet owners selling with rave reviews of said bike... Personally, I wouldn't buy one, but what a machine.... Looks mega in the flesh... And dare to be different I say!!
I'd buy a H2 but only IF I had enough disposable income; much the same way I'd buy a Lancia Delta Intergrale or Ducati desmosedeci. Fantastic pieces of engineering, amazing vehicles and absolutely exclusive; it's just how much actual bang do you get for your buck.
In fact; scrap the above comment. I'd have enough disposable income to buy one BUT i'd have to give up racing for a few years and thats not happening
