Knocking gearbox...anyone's same

    1st gear quickly opening n shutting the throttle noticed a bang from the gearbox nothing major but l've had a few rr8 onwards and never noticed it before, is this the norm?? ......as anyone else noticed similar?
    Didn't try it in any other gear.

    Just a thought, it could be the slipper clutch?

    Mine has some driveline shunt just the way it is, how's your chain ?

    chain's fine the bike has only done 100 mile.

    mine does the same 99% sure it is the slipper clutch.

    sounds more like the dogs on the gears meshing when you throttle off and the gearbox unloads.

    not sure how/why it's the slipper clutch?
