Knocking noise from Fireblade SP Ohlin's forks.

    Attached is video of a knocked noise coming from the inside of both forks.
    I can also feel play in both too of the same amount.
    I have been to the dealer and they are waiting for Honda technical to get back to them after they've watched the video and heard this noise.
    We checked the new SP in the shop and that has no noise or play.
    My question is :- Is this normal for Ohlin's forks as bike has only covered 8500 miles which includes approx 10 track days. can anyone please advise?

    Looks like possibly worn bushes, surprised that theyve gone that soon if it is that!

    Sounded like mine did at 16000 miles of road use. I had my bushes replaced and it cured it.

    Just heard back from Honda and this is normal when the fork legs is at full extension.
    Personally I'm not convinced so may get bushes replaced over winter.

    Spose so, they're in Chester but don't think they're an Ohlins specialist just a general all round bike garage.

    KAIS is the only one I know anywhere near N Wales just outside Warrington

    They may be right, but then again they say there is nothing wrong with the C-ABS system..........its a company that lives in constant denial of the facts in my experience.

    If you go to KAIS get a full understanding of what they doing and how much, I had poor after sales and no details on work done, might just be my experience
