Anybody tried the Knox Handroid Pod gloves, looking to get a pair at the NEC bike show, good or bad?

Very good quality, but I will share a fellow bikers experience.
Incident happen as he came out of the gooseneck, approaching Mansfield, he went for the front brake. Panic attach as the gnarled fingers on the glove caught under his brake lever. In the ensuing lack of track approached, he pulled harder on his hand to release the hold, this caused him to pull on the throttle. End result, catapulted into the grass and smashed bike.
Don't let that put you off though. Lol.

The reviews vary but again a very good glove. Personally i would go for the full version. Very comfortable too

Interesting, I got a dislike to my comments, and no explanation to why.
I would expect, some feedback, to assist our fellow rider to make a chose before spending a pretty penny on a pair of gloves.
I'm sure, we have reviewed the best gloves to have.
Held phantom 11 was up at the top.

Not sure about the handroid as haven't personally had a set.

The Biomech are the nuts, great summer gloves.

I've used Handroids all this season from alpine stars GP plus and they are a fantastic pair of gloves. Feel much more solid than the astars although I'm not knocking them as they are good gloves as well. They take a fair bit of time to break in but worth it. Good luck with you're purchase at the NEC if you do decide to get them. I went down last year on the last Saturday, only 2 places selling them , Knox and 1 other. Asked Knox if there was a special show price , no was the answer, went to the other guy 15 minutes before closing and told him I had £150 left ( think they were £160/170 ) and he also said no. Got them online when I came back for £150 delivered and they were the 2014 CE approved ones.

I can only comment about the pair I had when they first came out. general wear and about 6 weeks later 4-500 miles of riding and the y stitching on a few fingers started to fall apart.

So my pair would have not held up to any accident let alone just lasting more then a few months. I personally would not touch them with a barge poll But I know others have had a better experience .But I also know others had the same issue as me

I saw the Knix Hndrouds on sale somewhere last week but cannot remember what website I saw them on as I had been on dozens.
I know the earlier ones had problems with bits of plastic falling off at the slightest touch and stitching coming away but they look good.

Had Alpine Stars GP Pro and they are really solid but I found they 'cup' your palm as they are narrow which gave me awful pains in my hand.
I changed them to the Dainese Full metal pro and they are so comfortable and look great.
Quite narrow around the wrist area so a bit fiddly to get on but they feel real quality.

Had my handroids for two years, had two offs ( low sides at oulton ) and at least 20k miles, and still in top condition and are uber comfortable. Would recommend them.

I have the full version, had them nigh on a year. Do take a while for break in for sure, but love them so far. Comfy now, zero faults thus far

    100mph is questionable SW ;)

Likewise had a few sets (biomechs - I'm poor) and lasted longer than most tbh...

Done shed loads of miles and crashed more times than I'd like to remember and taken a fair hammering tbh including a very big one at Donny (think craners and leathers smoking on Tarmac lol).... Quality bit of kit IMO.

Only bettered by the full metal pro I've had which were more than twice the price and not tested so.... Erm extensively

I did tried them on but felt like off road gloves..you know, a bit short. My opinion anyway.
