Was looking at getting a back protector insert for a kriega R15 rucksack but the official kriega item is £45 for a bit of foam. Anyone used anything else or know if other inserts fit ok ?
If its a bit of foam your after, nick one of the floats from your local swimming pool! Ive got a dainese back protector for under leathers if your interested. Better protection than the inserts ones for the kriega.
Cheers for the reply. Got a dianese one myself for under leathers but tend to wear the rucksack on wet and cold days to carry waterproofs and warm clothing. As I layer up with thermals under the leathers on cold days no room for the back protector so thought might be worth fitting one on the rucksack.
