Looking at replacing my dainese summer gloves And these came up as a good choice. Was wondering if anyone know of dealer as I would like to try before I buy. I'm looking for a good quality glove, gives good feel and well vented I won't mention budget as I would like to see what people can suggest when it comes to motorcycle gloves.
You'll av 2 go a long way to beat these Rem, Andy at DT is doing Killer deals on them at the mo! .............and the 'Roo' leather is sublime!
Would not touch another pair for £20 let alone £150. You can go better as a pair I had (not from DT) fell apart after 300-500 miles so would not buy a pair as I would never trust the mins off But only my experience and thanks for the reply sine Also looking at R S Taichi I try and shy away from the popular gear as it's not always the best. But this leaves me the issue of trying to find a dealer
Love my alpinestars gp pro, really comfy and supple from day one, on my second pair and can't fault them at all
Astars don't fit my hand well . If the GP pro are the ones with the plastic wrist part I need a xxxl to get over my fist.
And why I want to try before I buy. I feel if I get no local dealer I may just have to try lots on at the NEC show
had some Kushitani summer gloves. Best bloody gloves I had, threw them this year after approx 10 yrs!!! so well made. Would buy again in a heartbeat, Kushi will not be at the NEC tho, but are going to the london show.
cheers for that. well i've yet to put a foot closer to THE CITY than gatwick in 20 years i think I won;t be seeing them in the flesh
X 2 Ive had two pairs now, yes the first were a bit suspect but Knox's aftersales servcie is second to non. They replaced them with out question and the second pair are frankly the best gloves Ive ever had. (My recent off proved their worth too) Ask James Ellison what he thinks as well.
I do like the look of the Kushitani kit but it's so bloody expensive. (still really really want some)
I agree, whilst I haven't the android versions these are the best gloves I've had. Two years old, over 25k covered, awesome Compare this to my interim gloves that are a similar age but far less mileage/use. Nice gloves but the Velcro on both gloves have come away
Try HELD gloves mate, really well made, mine are nine years old, kangaroo and ray skin with carbon. Have been soaked many times still feel good, stitching just starting to go on one cuff strap.
I've had a lot of gloves over the years and the best "summer" ones I ever had were Nankai NRG-22, with Kushitani something or others a close second. Alpinestars gloves are shite (they should stick to boots). Knox gloves are gimmicky shite (they should stick to armour). All IMHO of course with no evidence to back up
