I've just been offered a Kyle racing ecu for my rr4 for 100 quid, has anyone got any experience of these. I've found a company in Grimsby that can remap it if I find the software for it. The guy who's selling it said when he put it on his rr4 it turned it into an animal, which sounds good to me, lol. Place who remaps it said I could put it straight on and they'll rolling road it to check it's mapped ok, if not they will map it but I don't wanna blow my bike up. Any help would be massively appreciated.
Just been doing some research and although it seems that the edu gives the bike mind blowing acceleration, you have to wire in a separate ground for the fan otherwise it doesn't work and you also have to disable the steering damper. It also lets the bike rev to 13500 rpm which in my eyes is probably not good for the engine, so at the moment it seems like a bad idea, lol.
