    Hi Guys
Not posted for a while, need a bit of advice, have noticed the cable to the L/H switch gear has been nearly chopped through by the top yoke,I guess this is being caused when putting the steering over to full lock when engaging the steering lock.
Has anyone had the same issue and if so how was this rectified.

    Thanks in advance Stu

Is it just the sheath that is damaged? If so tape it up and then find some way to secure it nearer the yoke to stop it happening again.

    Hi Barstewardsquad
It has damaged some of the inner cores but not enough to short out against each other.
You say secure it,there is a hole in the frame which I guessing allows a clip to be located with a zip tie on it but there's not one on mine so I'm guessing I need to get one ordered .
Was wondering is the cable attached to the frame on yours just out of interest
    Thanks Stu

Here's pics of my RR7. There is a white clip under a shroud which keeps it out the way, hope the pics show it clearly.

    Hi Barstewardsquad
Rr7 is a little bit different to the rr11 as there is a hole in the frame towards the headstock which i guess should have a clip in with a zip tie but there's not one there so the cable moves about and gets caught when turning steering to lock it.
If you hold the cable in place at the hole and turn the steering it doesn't fowl the cable .
So I need a clip to solve the problem and some tape to repair the cable
    Thanks for the reply Stu
