Well in Fridays post i got my last Christmas present, a servo buddy from states via evilbay! Glad it's dry today so I can put it on the bike and lose some more weight from it View attachment 17632 View attachment 17633
I must admit I looked for ages for one over here and couldn't find any! And the guy from 1000rr.net has stopped doing them. It cost me £43 including shipping. Then the other day I found out healtech make them and you can get them over here but a couple of quid more
It's always the way! You find them after you've bought something but at least I've saved £12 + from the looks of it
Does the servo come out and leave the plastic mounting tray in place or is that integral to it ? I have my cables disconnected but if the servo comes out and leaves a handy little cubby hole then that be coming out too..
Just the servo comes out! There is a cover underneath for access to the servo but wouldn't recommend removing it as it is also weather protection
Thats what I was wondering about .... I'll have to have a look..I've just put the bike back together too....oh well...it's too crappy out to ride it so might as well tinker
To remove the servo you just take the seat off and disconnect the servo cable and bolt holding it in place! Then pop the servo buddy into the plug. Nutty tart made a good comment about using the space left over for a power commander, which I will do when I get one
Hope you dont mind me asking which eBay seller you got yours from? I'm tempted to get one myself. It really annoys me that you cant buy things like this in the UK, been trying to get a wideband O2 sensor & IAT sensor for a little tuning project I'm doing & you just cant find them in the UK. Ozz
Not at all mate, the second link is what I found after I bought mine bit more expensive but quicker delivery! Although mine only took 10 days from the states http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=251318976987&globalID=EBAY-GB Exhaust Servo Eliminators for Honda Motorcycles
