    Hi guys
Bought my 06 Wednesday night & have been having a blast ever since, did notice that it was connected to a trickle charger when I collected it, but nothing wrong with that, lots of people use them right.
Parked the bike in the garage over night, got home from work to go & play & the bike wouldn't start, she'll turn over, but not cranking nearly fast enough to fire, so I plonked the multimeter on her, the battery is holding approx 12.5V but once I start cranking it drops down below 6V, I've also checked its taking a charge from the alternator, which is 14V bang on, thought this a little low, most alternators pump out 14.5 give or take one decimal, but alternator aside, any advice on a decent replacement battery without breaking the bank, got road tax & my daughters birthday to contend with this month.
    Oh the joy!

M&P/Busters sell budget batteries thru eBay cheaper than on site, often free delivery. Have used them several times when I had a habit of leaving my bandit sitting all summer and using my 600RR,then come winter battery was dead as hadn't used a trickle charger. Bike ran fine with new battery all winter tho, often in sub zero temps.

I contacted busters, as there only down the road from me, but they don't offer a collection, only delivery.
I'm not the most patient guy in the world, I WANT IT NOW! lol, I want everything now, but it's either wait until next week for a delivery to come through from busters or splash £70 on a genuine battery from Thunder road

My 600RR was always attached to an Oxford 360T charger, battery was still going strong when I sold it after 6 years:)
Don't know why I thought I could get away with not using one on the bandit sitting all summer:(

I bit the bullet & bought a gel battery from the main dealers, I need it for tomorrow providing the rain holds off, I have looked at a few trickle chargers, though my bike has a socket under the seat to take a trickle charger, would that mean I need a specific charger
