Today's lesson is that take care when opening a new tube of superglue. Especially take note of any splashes that land on the side of the tube when you pierce the seal, and do not out your finger on said splash and hold it there for a few minutes. Particularly if you work in IT and it is your main typing finger
I superglued my fingers together once. Tried to run into the kitchen to get hot water on it before it fully set, had to jump over stuff I was working with and hit my head on the top of a door frame and knocked myself out. But the positive side was I landed on my hand and that pulled my fingers apart. as ridiculous as it sounds it is a true story
If you stick your fingers together or to out else with Superglue a brand new razor blade is invaluable are parting the join with no pain! (Don't ask!)
Sadly it was not caught on video but my mrs and her sister were present at the time and they didnt even realise I knocked myself out because they were laughing so much
Just don't do an "american pie" Some younger members may know the particular scenario I'm referring to here...
