Does anyone have the GP Pro 2 fitted.

I've read that it comes with a couple of different baffles, is this true?

I've seen one up close and it has the obvious huge main baffle bolted into the end of the can... where it the other located?

If someone could explain it that would be great.

    Thanks

I have one and it came with three baffles,
one fitted and two spare which were different
sizes so you had more control of how loud it is.
    I just removed them all.

Oh right, 3 baffles!! blimey... I'll have to make sure I get all the stuff when I pick it up from the dealer.

I think it may have been your video I've been watching on youtube... 848phantom?

How the hell do you remove the baffle on these?

I've done the obvious and undone the bolt beneath the baffle. It can't be undone all the way, but does not look like it needs to as there is a channel for it to slide down.

So I've undone the bolt and ragged the baffle about with some gripper tools and still can't get it out... I could easily pull it hard enough to pull the bike off it's side stand that is how stuck it is.

I beliebe I have the biggest baffle in at the moment and it still sounds good so it's not the end of the world, but would like to hear it with the other one in, and without one at all.

    Cheers

Swapped mine the other day from the loudest to the quietest ,just slacken the nut off and make sure the washer hasn't slipped into the channel ,mine did and the baffle wouldn't move ,I just pushed the baffle inwards a touch and poked the washer back upwards and it pulled out easily ,hope this helps.
    Jase.

Cheers I'll check that out and see if it budges... Take it you prefer the quietest?

Seems to be quiter on ticker over and then raspy on the revs.

There's not that much in it to be honest mate especially when you get it above 6k rpm.

Mine had a small weld on the bolt that held it in place so
I have to use a hammer and punch to break the weld
Then the baffle popped out nice and easy.
I dont have any baffle in mine.

I had the same problem removing my baffle which I think is caused by rough edges on the baffle. I spent ages making a slide hammer from a plug spanner and some threaded rod. I fixed some brake cable on the end of the treaded rod then looped it behind the screw that holds the baffle in place. It came out a treat but then I realised you could take the silencer off and poke out the baffle with a bit of timber from the other end LOL.

How big is the baffle hole? I used a broom handle on baffles before straight out!

Probably bigger enough for that... What did you do? just stick it down the pipe end and wiggle?

I'll give that a try tomorrow them, I'm trying not to bend or damage anything as worst case I'll get the supplying dealer to do it.

Nope not a mm of movement :( tried the broom handle leverage option, it's just not having any of it.

EDIT - Achieved :-D... Rang the dealer and they said get some mole grips on it, then twat the mole grips with a hammer :-D... eventually a mm at a time it came out.

Not sure which baffle to have fitted now, or no baffle at all :p

Just done 120 miles with no baffles, it's LOUD and sounds poppy and bangy.

It does not tick over as nice with no baffle at all though, but I can live with that.

the pops are great when you roll off the red line in fifth,
especially on coastal roads when it echo's off the see boundaries.
