Just a bit of advice please lads, ive just fitted a leo vince slip on to my 2008 1000rr, i was just wondering about the lambda sensor, do i screw it into the old pipe (which i have done), or use the bung instead, this is my only mod at present , no power commander as yet, also where the link pipe goes onto the headers was there supposed to be a gasket as none was supplied

    cheers steve

Screw the lambda sensor into the pipe for now until you get a PCV and an O2 sensor eliminator. Once you have fitted the O2 sensor eliminator, you can remove the lambda sensor and put the bung in or just leave it where it is as it wont be doing anything once the O2 sensor eliminator has been fitted.

    No gasket required.

If your worked about the link pipe leaking a tiny smear of silicone sealant then slip pipe on does the trick. They usually coke up after time though and any small leaks stop.

+1 ,, keep the sensor running or you will have warning lights flashing
