    Hey fellas.

MY current Blade is the first bike I havn't felt the need to mod of change too much; I know from past experience that once we start we just can't stop....

Nevertheless, just one little mod can't hurt.

I have been looking at levers; have used different ones in the past on my track bikes -Titax, Pazzo, Spazzo etc.

For the Blade, I am leaning toward either ASV of Lightech (both full length - don't like the feel from shorties).

I can get the ASV for £155 & read fairly good reports other than some people have issues with the brake light switch?

The Lightech are the same price but I can't find any reviews from people who have fitted them. The clutch isn't span adjustable but I think thats okay; altering the span changes the feel & I think the oem feel is excellent.

I like the way the ASV adjuster is linear, but think the Lightech brake side is the same.

Has anyone here used or have experience of Lightech?

    :)

No experience of Lightech, had ASV previously on my R1 not so good for span adjustment on the fly but ASV do look good. Currently have Pazzo on the Blade personally i think they are a good quality lever and rate them.

Why not just save a bit more and get a Brembo M/C and lever, by all accounts a great mod for the Blade and they look good as well.

I've had the ASV shorties before but now have the Brembo RCS levers and MC. The feel of the Brembo is far nicer if I'm honest, not forgetting the feel from the MC!

    Thanks for the replies.

I have had Brembo before (on other bikes) & agree they can be an excellent addition. Can't get my head around what effect fitting a Brembo (or even braided lines) will have on a C-abs system. The lever isn't connected to the calipers; the amount of bracking you want is "sensed" by the c-abs ecu & it then delivers the amount of braking effort it calculates you can have via a servo - I think.

The brakes are excellent; I just want to add some subtle, quality bling.

    :)

Not ridiculously expensive either but not sure how much they are for the whole assembly ie clamps as well.

I had ASV I have Pazzo and brembo and these are the nicest by far!!!

And used by all the top racers, they make me look fast even when I'm slow!!!

Only reason I change mine is because I like black things. The adjustment is a bonus.
