I'll take any/all of those days as i got a pass from the missus after missing the last bank holiday due to me doing the scotland trip shortly after.
Im now also getting the bike back ready for the road since the trip destroyed my tyres, brakes and the numberplate bracket vibrated off.

May i suggest Scarborough and the Olivers Mount road/race track, via the north lincolnshire back roads and across the "now free for bikes" Humber Bridge.

Just realised the reality being that I'll have to keep the revs below 3krpm for the first 600 miles so I'll be boring as hell if I come, so may need to do the next one instead.

I ran mine in to the book and I'm quite sure the speed was higher than I was expecting, it's certainly quick enough for the Lincolnshire roads! I'm pretty slow anyway, so your in again then? Is it this weekend you collect her, 17th if so you will have plenty of time to put 600 miles on ;) jim at Grantham Honda told me to forget running it in and just ride it, I would not be able to hurt it however I ride on the roads.

I like the thrash it idea in theory, but my 09 blade didn't use oil after being run properly. And I don't fancy thrashing it with that mineral oil crap they have on them for the first 600 miles.

Pick up is on the 25th officially unless they get it built quicker, they've not rang to say it'll be ready this weekend yet, I'll maybe give them a call tomorrow. Supposed to rain all this weekend anyway :-(

So maybe back in ha ha

Below 3k, don't think you have to keep it that low!! Just don't load the engine or give really high revs and it'll be mine, kept mine to about 7/8 k at the start!

Where abouts are you based / do you fancy riding?

I know some cracking loops around Melton Mowbray way but may be a bit to far south into Leicestershire for you guys?
