    Hi there ,

    New member just joined . I own a Vfr400 NC30 & a 2010 Fireblade HRC Non ABS RR-A

I'm Having trouble sourcing a Lithium Ion Battery For the Fireblade . Most places that advertise on ebay say that their batteries will fit a 2010 but when i contact to double check they dont . The battery to be replaced is a YTZ 10S 12V 6.3Ah . I hope someone may be able to send me a link ?

    Many thanks !

I was under the impression that the YTZ10s was in the ABS model and the 7s in the standard bike o_O

I bought an Aliant YLP10 for my 2007 model from Demon Tweeks because Sportsbikeshop didn’t have any in stock and have had no issues with it so far…

Anyone had any experience with JMT Lithium batteries? have used Shido in the past and they have worked flawlessly. JMT look just as good and 10% cheaper!

all the LFP brands make an YTZ 10S equivalent. Are you sure you have the right part coz 6.3Ah is more YTZ-7S
You just have to pay attention to the terminal layout. I myself put in aliant YLP14 but had to fabricate terminal adaptors:rolleyes:
I believe JMT, shido, shyrich and few others all come from the same factory in china

Deffo believe it’s got to be a LTZ7S. Even checked on Shido/Afam website and they say it’s a LTZ7S for that model CBR1KR.

I’d believe the official website rather than other people’s experiences but it’s up to you. It’s your bike and electrics but i’d not take the chance.

JFYI - I just got an LTZ7S from SportsBikeShop for £58 by going to my nearest store (Brum). Works a treat so far.

you only got half of the story my friend. ABS models have YTZ10s and non ABS YTz7s. Check yuasa's website!

Thought I mention this so others can be aware of the differences

Yes you did & your correct.
The original poster got mixed up quoting either the wrong battery or the wrong Ah. She/ he mentioned non ABA but then RR-A:confused: I think he was very confused but maybe it's all sorted as he has gone quiet:D
