Well i got a puncture in my k2 couple of weeks ago now so i bought some pilot road 3s and chucked them on. Wow what an amazing tyre. I wanted something that would last a few extra miles as i travel to and from work every couple of weeks. The wet grip is unreal there truly amazing and have giving me alot more confidence and the last few dry days that i have been out i really dont need anything more . Knee downs and fast corner exits . I would highly recomend these tyres to any one that rides hard but eats miles. Will post up hoq many miles i get out of them later on... ive just ordered some rng aero bobbins and got my rear peg blanker plates through. Cant wait for the fun job of fitting them now :/. Will post pics after :)

I have these tyres on my blade, and love them.
Was fine for doing a European tour of Germany (B500), Austria (Vorarlberg), Italy (dolomites, Stelvio etc) and Switzerland and all the passes.

I'm no slouch and they never gave me any trouble at all

I have these on the 929, what an awesome tyre.

Just a shame the tread looks like they are meant for a tractor!

Will definitely be buying them again, outstanding all weather tyre.

I may be leaning towards PR3's me sen when the time comes.

Does any one run the 55 rear tyre over the standard 50 series?

    Pro's / Con's ??

Another vote for the PR3, run nearly nearly every day since November, cannot believe the low wear rate and the fact that it is keeping its profile, put around 5K on them so far, (twice as far as I normally get) found them excellent from cold start onwards, very good wet grip, not much downside to them when you have to chunk up big miles in all conditions.
I am really not sure how this tyre works, good grip, good profile and high miles...they don't go together normally.
