I've now done over 1000 miles on my 2010 Blade.
After a long hot run yesterday with lots of traffic bike often running over 100 degrees and moving, thanks to no air from vehicle in front in slow traffic.
And the occassional long blast too ..

As I arrived home the gear box was getting noticeably notchy steps .. not smooth clicks worse in and out of 3rd ..
I've not missed any gears, or abused the box at all.

The bike has also used very little oil.

I am presuming that the oil wasn't up to scratch and has now had it :( ...as with previous bikes these symptoms seem to tell me the old was screwed. ZX-9R's get like this especially on crap oil.

Better ring them and ask them what they used.

I never saw the 1000 miles bit ha ha good point but if standard chain I'd go back to this to check most stretch on standard poor chain might do this

I also get this on my bike it has only done 3500miles(2011 model) was going to talk to mr b about it as it does seem to be getting worse,as you say it is when the bike is hot and in traffic.
I wonder if it is a charactrisic of this model or if as people are saying upgrade the oil?

I'm on my 2nd gearbox, ok this isn't sounding good so far but both boxes have been clunky compared to other bikes I have owned. I think it's just a Honda thing
