    Hi guys,
Just sold my 2000 RRY blade last week as I want to upgrade a little after saving up.
I want a rr6 / rr7 but then thought on I can scrimp a bit more and afford an 2010. Heard a few stories about the earlier 2008 / 2009 being oil burners so would like to jump to a 2010. Now I'm lost when it comes to models as TBH I'm not a bigger follower of bikes, I just like to ride them.
So I have seen RR-A, RA-B. Are these the only 2 models you can get on 2010 and whats the difference please. Is 1 ABS and the other not? is ABS the more desirable bike ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Andy

I'd stay away from the ABS version.

Whatever U decide matey I'd go non ABS!

Just sold a non ABS myself and although it was fine after a Dealer visit last year I was just pissed off with Honda UK's stance on the issue so defected to Kawasaki in 'protest' ! :D

Been through 5 Blades from an RRY onwards, my advice take your time and find a good 08 onwards, unless you are well over 6' the 08 onwards is the best Blade yet.

Oh yeah, FFS don't buy an ABS.

As others have said avoid ABS and consider 09 onwards. I think the oil issues were on the early 08 bikes, but with your budget you may be looking at a later model, you may want to keep some monies in reserve for any mods, most popular being tail tidy and replacement can etc, and remember Repsols produced in 2009/2011/2013 if u are wanting to buy the prettiest blade. Good luck with your search.

i went from an RRY to an RRA(well with a triumph in-between) and i love the RRA, i opted for the non ABS because of what i'd heard, i figured i wouldn't miss what id never had anyway...... i was also advised to go for 2010 on because of the oil consumption, mine is great, hardly uses any oil at all
