The Honda one works for me, keep your eye on eBay or on here, they come up for around the £100-110 mark, and the 08 onwards fit 08-014.

Fitted Honda E-cushion today, went for a 150klm ride, its like night and day from the original, apart from the comfort which is superb,on hard braking i no longer have to grip the tank with my inner thighs to stop smashing my bollocks into it....summary ,is it worth the money???,probably not what they charge:eek:...i am glad i bought it,i love it it:) should be standard issue...would recommend to anyone;)

Somebody recently posted that the honda e-cushion was £170 from his honda dealer or bidding up to £160 on eBay so might aswell stump up for the new one.

Got a second hand seat off eBay then sent it to James Hope in Falkirk, he recovered it plus extra padding for £80. He's recommended by many on here. I put mine to the test last weekend and what a difference it made. Don't waste yer money on the Honda one I would say.

cheaper way for touring is either cyclist shorts or horse riding shorts underneath your leathers, they both have gel pads on the bum cheeks.... Very comfy for touring.

would the padding not make changes to ride height? center of gravity etc...?

I did notice that it perched me up slightly higher than the standard seat but for me I'm not bothered about a slight difference to the balance of the bike when riding on the road (like I'd notice), it's more to do with arse longevity in the saddle I'm after. Of course I did also notice that across my shoulders and wrists didn't ache as much either.
