Is there a knack to the tabs locking or clicking into place? Everything is lined up but not rigid.
Nothing seems to be broken but won't click together?
It's the tabs at the bottom fairing which connects with the side fairings.
    Once again, thanks in advance!

Have you popped the centres of the tabs out? When I take fairings off I usually get some spare clips and tabs cos they don't always like to be reused. I'm guessing this is older than a 08-onwards blade?

Can you renew them? It seemed to be fixed to the plastic panels when I looked yesterday.
    I'll look again tonight. It's an RR9.
    Thanks.

Mine is an RR9 too. Take a pic of what you are struggling with. Took me a few times but now can take complete fairing off and put back on quite quickly.

I'm sure it will be something simple ;)

Will have a look at mine in a bit. I tend to bend the fairing a bit and they pop into place for me with a little force from memory...

I think what's wrong is that the lower fairing is buckled as it clicks when I push this upwards and apply pressure to hold it there. I've tried loosening the lower side fairings to pull it up but no joy. Think it's time for bonding sealer to hold it all in place, as I went for a ride last night and it popped out of position.

From the pics it's not pushed forward enough, or is that the oroblem its not staying there? there's two tabs up the sides about roughly where the screw is that holds the black trim in on the inside too are the in ok? Have you tried taking it off completely and having a look at it and all the tabs and refitting?

Just put mine back to a road bike so am a dab hand with taking the fairing on and off now, would think there's something just quite not lined up that's all.

Have you got a side pic too where it butts up to the side panel?

Everything is lining up and where it should be. I hit it off a kerb some time ago and I think this has buckled the lower fairing as it all clicks when pressure is applied from underneath.
I'm going to put a very small amount of bonding to the front section as I don't want it coming apart again while I'm riding.
All I'll need to do to open it is to put a scalpel between the panels. I hope

    Thanks navvy,
I'm pretty sure I need to replace the lower section which I will do at a later stage.
I've put a very small amount of sealant on the front and it does the job for now.
That lets me spend money on other more exciting upgrades lol

I always thot the tabs were just sort of guides as the two lower fasteners on each side and other fasteners hold it all together and the bottom cowl on  and it's all designed to flex as speed builds up! It's just I've never had a problem with them and I've had it all apart several times
I maybe just lucky dudes :D

Maybe that's how it's supposed to be but mine are very loose and one moved about at the bottom at high speed (70.5 MPH)
The right hand fairing had come away and damaged the lower side fairing on my last ride

Maybe I can get them both flapping in the wind for take off??
    :D

Also haven't had the problem dude so trying to work out if Dif's fairing clips are damaged or if he isn't quite clicking it all into place properly ;)

Oh I wish I was! Are you doing a trackday?
It's on my wish list as I've never done one before.
Unfortunately a good 3 hour ride to get there, then do a track day and (hopefully) ride back doesn't fill me with joy but I'm looking into the options as I'm really keen to try it.

Thanks navvy, I think my tabs are knackered and worn. Maybe it had a hard life before I got it?!
Good old "sticks like shit" saved the day. Think I'll need to replace every panel next service though, as I'm not sure it will prise apart lol.
