Hepco & Becker Plate for a CBR1000RR 2017-20. Modified to: Lift it slightly to reduce contact of forward edge with backside (added foam strips underneath for sealing). Added Bumpad -- same reason Added holes to facilitate bolting through the plate into added raised standups in the frame mounts for pillion strap (really gives added security when you undoubtedly exceed the plates rated load. Bolts, standups and caps all included. Add a removable spreader plate (aluminium) to support in my case SW Motech throw over panniers (also for sale - see item (2) dor details). There are an additional five holes in the plate that will need sealing plugs. They mounted a top box plate a very large Givi Topbox with plate (In fact I posted pics of the fully assembled system a while ago). And that's it. Spreader plate hand painted but was only ever going on with the luggage over it. Any questions please ask. Pics with panniers fitted are shown in one of my other listings from today. Reduced to £65 posted to a UK Mainland Address (I think they retail over £160 - tell me if wrong). If interested I have a couple of pics of the extra holes needing plugs (5 in total) but not allowed to load over 10 pics here.
Wanted one of these for ages so I can get to work on a custom topbox for my dog to ride with me when I get back to England. However, being as I've a 2008.. I don't think this one will fit?
Pic 4 What are the two red round things? Look like lights but I don’t think they’d be much use under the seat
I think you're looking at the wrong pic, MrB. Where he shows inside the tail fairing, there's two red round things either side of the tool kit. Both seem to be well anchored with whiteish rat straps.
And I thought maybe someone was interested to buy a bargain! The round red Thingeys under the seat are turbo boost buttons No, they are a means to either have the alarm's red led flash or turn it off. The second one does the same for a second led fitted to bike driven by a stand alone 9v Duracell battery. So you can power led either from bike battery or Duracell or not at all. There is also an on/off switch for the 5v phone or satnav lead up at headstock. But the mod to bolt through hepco into frame via standup in the pillion strap threads works well. After all if pillion strap assists your pillion to stay on why not your luggage when fitted. So now disappointed no one wants my hepco. But c'est la vie. Mike
