What would you need panniers for?
    A US20 + US10 did me fine for 5 days on the island ;)

Well its a tent job so its baby wipes a tooth brush and paste trusty lynx some underkrackers and socks that ill bin so got space for a comerative t and hoodie to take back a hoodie for warmth in case weather shite and depending on weather ill wear leathers/ my winter kit and pack the others. Dont fancy a week in wet leathers and tent if it pisses down . Oh yeah my meds to so the voices are kept at bay . And finaly one tripple thick ribbed condom. Woooooweeeeeeee you never can tell !

I used to do a week with a US20 and 2 US10s on the back and a very small tank bag. Footwear and wash kit etc in one US10, Clean clothes mainly in the US20 and dirty ones went in plastic bags in the other US10 until it needed more space and then swapped the contents to the US20 and vice versa.

Get all the clothes you think you want, roll them rather than fold them all up, and then remove about half of them as you won't need them ;) After all you are going to the Isle of Man not Mongolia:)

Take leathers and oversuit/jacket or textiles, not both. FFS are you a man or a girl ;)

Agree with the roll technique, much better than folding. Took full leathers and a full waterproof (last year and needed it lol). There’s a dry cleaners by Tesco does a TT special if need be £10 for a black bag of washing next day service :) Renntec rack with tent, air mat and sleeping bag. 2 Oxford panniers and an 80ltr roll top Oxford bag on the pillion for 9 days. Debating wether to do TT or Assen next year?
