They've made the run-offs at Island a little safer but if there weren't two huge humps on the approach to island there'd be less nee for run-offs http://news.oultonpark.co.uk/safety-improvements-carried-out-at-oulton-park.aspx
Wait till the double day in the summer Colin, loads from here are always on it and it makes the journey worth it...
the bumps are what make it what it is matt, thats like saying flatten out deers leap,or dont have the hills as steep.
Only been there once and didnt get on with it. Mate more or less lives there reckons i just need another shot at it. He is probably right, no sure what it was about it
I wouldn't worry too much about 'getting it' Phil. Oulton is a very technical track and takes many visits to get the hang of it proper. I've done approx 30 odd days there now and still learn sumat new each visit!
Pah! I'd go sub 1.50 first time out.... Oh wait, I failed that already lol Oulton is mega, really hard to get right but good fun all the same. Enjoy it but do struggle at times.... Think it's the blind corners you need to get some laps in to work out how to go quick.... Mess one corner up and seems to chain react into a crap lap
Haha. Bogey track for you then lol. I loved it mate. Bit like my local roads so probably why I like it
Should be left for go karts! Lol Honestly hate it, no desire to go there..... Prob come to like it but I'm proper pony round there I tell ya
Think it's just one of those track you either love (normally the locals) or hate.... Struggle to put a lap together. But only been three times so prob a grower Oh and jase handed me my arse there which is never easy to take
