    Quite rare cast magnesium wheels... If someone goes for them ask the seller if he had x-rayed them for cracks before powder coating them.

    I share your concerns DimST, you take a chance second hand. They may very well be worth buying; they may not. I bought mine off of someone i trust implicitly, they are by far the best mod i have on my RR7. If anyone on here is going to bid on them or wants them bad enough are going to buy them ask him is it ok for you to x-ray them before you do. If he's/she's genuine they will have no problem, if they do stay away although that is just my opinion as i 'm a cautious person at times.

    Its worrying me that they have been re painted . Covering cracks ?? possibly

    Few people xray mag wheels in the real world (always good advice if you can get the wheel manufacture to do it or talk to someone like 4th dimension who have motorcycle xray system) I deal with hundreds of people who have them both on Jap and Italian bikes, the rule of thumb is if they leak air over time slow puncture kind of thing then you need to investigate why, same with carbon wheels.. soapy water and good care soon finds cracks!
