Maxxis Supermaxx Sports Touring 6029 rear tyre

    Anybody used one of these on a Blade, heard good things about them?

    are they the ones with diamond pattern at the edge? if so i am also tempted when the time comes so any real test opinions would be good

    need to replace the tyres on the blade and thinking about a pair of Maxxis, have read some good reviews of them

    A mate of mine had them on his triumph 675, I can't remember why but he wasn't too keen on them

    Im not convinced with the diamond pattern? Think it could be a bit Of a gimmick... Surely you want as much rubber and contact patch on the edge of the tyre at lean angle? Just like every other sports tyre design...

    The diamond pattern would only last for about 3 corners lol
