Had my first "proper" rideout on the blade since getting it late summer last year. The plan was a visit to Anglessey. Went from home (near Stoke) to Whitchurch, Llangollen (piss stop), Bala (coffee warmup), Porthmaddog, Caernarfon, Anglesey (Beaumaris for lunch), Llandudno (Ice Cream), Rhyl, Flint, Chester (coffee warmup) and back home. Over 250miles. It felt awesome. The bike was faultless. Sadly didn't go via Snowdonia as planned as I couldn't find the turn I needed near Porthmaddog and it also looked a bit misty up there. It was cold enough at sea level tbh! Chuffed that I got nearly 160 miles out of the tank before the light came on - and we weren't exactly dawdling either. That's better on fuel than my old CBR600F Can't wait to get out on it again! Had my mate on his Hayabusa for company. Here's the "Beaumaris Eye" lol Llandudno was chocka! Some sort of Victorian Fairground thing...
You must have hit some really nice roads once away from the coast mate, sounds like a real good ride out. Llandudno is always busy on mayday weekend with a three day carnival, loads of steam engines and stuff like that. Ps, the bikes are looking good pal. Andy B
