    Hi,

Thinking of riding from home to Belgium to visit my cousins.

Have been by car many times, and it is a straight long boring motorway that goes there from Calais - wanted to know if anyone could recommend a more scenic route to get to the destination...

    that is if one exists..

    Thanks

It's not the most rivetting of routes, it has to be said, BUT you're not a million miles away from the hills of the Eifel NP and of course, the 'Ring so you could couple it with a sojourn down that way?

Eifel is the area between the Ring and the Belgian border. The Ring is very close to Belgium, and about 150 miles from Turnhout. Would be a good 'scenic route' to get back to Calais!
