Hi David would love Lings but going back down the MX5 route that Gumtree ad was free fella bang it on there.
She had a RX8 which was a great car and went like stink, but only when it would start! The Mazda dealer tried countless times to fix the problem, it happened so often that we got on first name terms with the local AA relay mechanic, who indecently frequently failed to start it either. In the end, after a year of problems we chopped it back to them in an “extra special” deal for an MX5 with the electric hard top, whilst it was a great fun car I somehow I had the feeling I wouldn’t want her to be involved in an RTA in it. Don’t let my observation put you off, it was a great little car and Mazda's service/support was excellent, even if they couldn’t fix the RX8 problem.
