Hi, looking at getting a set of Michelin Power RS tyres fitted to my blade. Did a search on here and a few users have had them fitted so just wanted some "real life" reviews of them.

So what are riders thoughts? grip? warm up? longevity? steering?

They look very summer/track orientated but are meant to offer better characteristics than the Michelin Pilot Power 3's. They look more like the newer Pilot Road 5's (without the edge sipping).

I ride all year round (apart from ice/heavy snow/heavy rain) so the only area that really concerns me is if I got caught out in rain and how they would respond. I'm mainly road - may do odd track day (not this year).

my mate has them on his bmw and says their vary good (summer rider), and they last well too, i'v seen black lines coming off them, and there meant be good in the wet, I nearly bought some but bottled it last min and went for diablos, it was height of summer and I only do dry riding, I've spoke to some faster track guys who's used them and rate the for the road, but looking at the depth of tread they can only shift so much water, where a sports tourer would be better in heavy down pours im guessing, and fact is a sports tourer are vary good tyre for the road and unlikely be out performed by us mear mortals, i'd prob buy a set of rs next time . but I don't ride in hard rain, if I did i'd go for the m77 think there called or the rosso corsa

Very interesting, with obvious kudos for the Michelins.

Yes I would highly recommend them, fantastic grip level but as for wear I can't help you there as I've had 2X punctures in rear tyres and had to buy new ones :-(
Have ridden in the wet too and have to say they felt good but they do say they've got the same level of grip in the wet as the PP3's.
Haven't ridden on track yet with them but have heard Michelin have brought out a RS+ rear tyre as some track uses have reported blistering of the side treads.
    Hope this has helped you.

Check the pressure with the tyre guy at track. I was to high and they ripped to shreds.
