Just purchased a set of Michelin PR5’s for the 2015 Blade SP. I’ll get them fitted in a week, Any comments? Mick.
Look forward to see what you think of them as will put them on next, didn’t fancy the 55 on the back?
I think its a all things to all men tyre, but I hope they have pulled it off. I like the slick-esk sides and aggressive water shifting tread. We'll see.
Interesting wet track lap times! Curious to see what mileage you get out of them. If it's good I may have a look at these rather than the Dunlop's I occasionally use.
It was from an interesting review...heres the link http://www.motorcycle.com/features/michelin-road-5-announced-available-january-1-2018.html
I have used the pr4 for years Lozzy and get 6-7k out of a rear with a lot left as they square off a bit on the commute. What do you get out the Dunlop’s?
The older Roadsmarts I've had 6k out of rear but they've squared off badly before that. But to be fair that was probably due to straight road commuting. I've had a well dodgy 6k out of sportsmart2's as well. But i find both tyres quite 'hard' compared to metz7rr's which I love because they just swallow the bumps up.
I like the M7RR's but I've had less than 500 miles out of 2 pairs. Sold both bikes just after I'd put them on.
