Looks good Matt. The A607 from syston (leicester) to grantham is quite good. Any idea on where to meet up?

I thought it looked quite a decent route, hopefully some twisties. :) If you want to mate we could meet at the A42 roundabout at the McDonald's if you know where that is? I'm not sure if forum member Stu may come as well, I know he wants some ride outs.. Then there's me and probably my mate. And of course anymore that fancy it..

Maybe a coffee stop in Melton on the way..?

I'll have a look on google maps. I'm sure I'll be able to find maccy d's on the A42.

Carl:- Shouldnt be too hard to find. But if you PM me your number just in case we get lost!

Hi All - that's this weekend (20th) isn't it. I think that I'll be going to Bob Minions as they've invited me there. Failing that I'll be driving out and about with Mrs Stu as we have a family thing up North. Timing eh?

Still meeting at McDonald's at 12 James? You'll have to go easy on me, I'm having new hoops put on in the morning.

Yeah the weather looking good! Dont worry about tyres I'm still running in mine. I'm not the fastest rider anyway.

What tyres you putting on? Ive just put Bridgestone S20's on. Good grip in the cold, damp conditions.

I'm sticking with Metzelers, but instead of Racetec K3 I'm having the M5's put on as they should offer double the mileage life. My K3's still have plenty of life in them but I go Europe next month so want a more all rounder and longer lasting.

If you guys don't mind me tagging along I can meet you up at McDonalds.
I'm not 100% certain about going, so if I'm not there by 12 then leave without me!

Where are you getting your tyres from? I'm in Derby - anywhere nearby?

Well I'm actually in South Derbyshire, I'm having them fitted at wheelhousetyres in Coleshill which is near Tamworth. They do good pair deals and its fairly local.

Hey sorry I missed you guys. I got to maccy d's at 12.20. One of the roads was shut one way and I had to go the long way round. Had my suspension set up (well worth the £30!) and I think I recognized SimonRR bike when you were leaving not sure though.
