Got a mate looking to buy an RRA HRC (no-one here) which was fitted with a HM dash.The seller has decided to put the dash on his track bike.Is the mileage stored on the original clocks or ECU?There is a dispute between them about mileage.
stored on clocks id see what mileage Hm dash done and add to clocks . but saying that you can put any mileage into hm dash with the ODO tool
So that means he may have done even more miles?Cheers Wedge,I will let him know cos he was afraid this could be done but wasn't sure.
If the Bike has no recorded mileage on the service history or historical MOT records then selling a Bike with an HM Dash is wide open to 'Nileage Correction' Same goes if the OEM Clocks are removed from a Bike with a respectable low mileage on them then the Bike is run for a few years with an HM Dash then the OEM Clocks refitted for when Sale time comes
