October edition, Bike mag, page 113 (Mark Brunt) This guy came to my house took the wheels off of the bike, fitted BT-016 R PRO,s front and rear and charged me £215 all in I asked him about running them in, he tells me, it's not about grip, release agent is not used anymore them won't slip it's the tyre bedding to the wheel and something to do with the steel banding also bedding in, easy on the brakes, soft on the throttle and corner sensibly for 100 miles on Bridgestone 80 miles on mitchlin and Pirelli. Great guy, reasonable price and a decent fella to wax lyrical. If you in the linc area I recommend him.
I still do my own after getting an Abba tyre changer from Santa last year. Stock piled a load of scrubs in the mean time to reduce sudden costs. Did you guys manage an outing today as Iv'e added one to the Out&About section for tomorrow.
Agreed, use Mark too. Same BT16 Pro deal, good tyre, price and service. He's a star, and thoroughly recommended if you are in this part of the world.
Pretty sure I've recommended him on the forum too! A mate who had a training school used him after I gave him a card - always spoke highly of his work & prices
