    OK I talked to Rob about this... and hope I'm not overstepping the mark

    With Dan unwell, Craig Busy and Rob working, family and keeping a few forums running I have asked for someone else to help out on the forum due to the growing community here

    I would like to ask who would want to be a mod and also if members would suggest people they feel would be a good idea to have as a mod

    I should have really suggested people suggest someone they would think was good for the job

    What does in involve. Not a huge amount. But being on here daily is idea. Answering PM's re changing thread titles, moving thread if they have been posted inn the wrong area. general house keeping

    but also pushing the forum forward, coming up with ideals. the chance to get new dealers/shops on board for the benefit of members as we have on here.

    But also being aware to no over mod to much, or to less. and being partial when it comes to any issues that may arise between members.

    May I also suggest Freedom of Choice, he's a nice bright fellow that would be an asset to your team!!

    You will have to ask him though?

    usually I select mods on forums I admin by post count (unless there a spammer)
    and by how much they are about.

    just make sure you have numpty safeguards against
    sections getting deleted, learned that the hard way
    when a mod done a slight bo-bo on one forum....so
    much info lost as the backup was over a week old ops [​IMG]

    Ken would seem to be an obvious choice to me. Aside from the obvious implications of giving him a vape sword :D

    ;)Does having red hair have any negative drawbacks when selecting a mod? But yes Ken or dear freedom and Fez would be my choice .

    How about having a list of people who get nominated then do a poll so everybody can vote on who they want then if more than 1 new mod is required we just select the top 2 people or something similar

    You also need to check if the nominated people are actually interested in doing the required job aswell!
