Hi Guys, I would love to change my standard exhaust on my 2012 abs blade but can't afford it,are there any mods that will make the standard exhaust sound a little more aggressive without affecting performance/fuelling?.Just watched the youtube vid of the exhaust flap mod on the 08-11 bikes,can I do that with mine,oh and if you guys have any other ideas on essential but cheap mods for any part of the bike let me know, Ta, BJ
Yeah that flap still applys to your bike. Only other mods are done with someone who's good With a welder.

some engineering shops will do it for next to nothing. Im not to hot with the mig either but I gutted my rr5 and a dukes cans as put new internals in.on the guide that fella done if it was me I would have tacked in some perforated tubing(get it on ebay) and then repacked it with lagging.would have gave it a nice deep growl.
Will it affect the fuelling or performance?,checked the link you supplied to the USA blade forum,the guy did a good job on the mod but obviously new his business.
Just as a matter of interest, the baffle plate inside the standard rear box is titanium, or at least it is on mine, Yep that one, I cut mine out, going to fit the box tomorrow and see how it sounds ..
take it thats the pre 08 one.I broke the welds and removed mine. then added a y shaped bit of perforated pipe along with acoustafil lagging. bladejogger it shouldnt effect the fueling that much but it should rev out freer
