Got the stands today, a bit of a minefield for choice so to help anyone thinking, quality was better than expected with sturdy framework.

Rear was fine, needed pulling out slightly (about an inch) to fit snug under rear arms, the front I'm not as sure on, the fit under the bottom of suspension scared me somewhat when lifting it and has to be perfect when lifting. I lifted once and it slipped slightly and scuffed the hub slightly.

Once up its stable, but unless I need practice, it's not something to be tempted on your own and takes a quick pull down to lift the bike. Would like to try the one that fits under the header of the suspension as not over keen on the front, unless someone can say I'm lifting in wrong place.

For £60 not bad, and far easier to clean bike.

I'd get some bobbins in that swingarm and use some hooks on the rear stand, I don't like that style seen a couple of bikes fall off those including a 3 week old GSXR600 I had doing £800 in damage, prefer an Abba for stability and ease of use.

Hi stutty, it seems you have same year and colour blade as me :) I had one of the moto GP rear stands on a triumph I had, it's definitely better with hooks and bobbins, not used the front ones.

Deffo agree with MrB, get bobbins, safer and much less likely to mark that lovely black sing arm, they dont cost much. Front stand just takes a bit of getting used to, mine is exactly the same, easier with some one steadying the bars during lift i find
