I've booked to go with he family. Will be my first GP race to watch live. Also the wife and kids all who enjoy the racing. I'm going early Sunday morning and know I will be back late Sun evening. Anyone booked? Going etc... I have booked the roaming tickets and hope they are worth it Would be great to meet up with others there http://www.silverstone.co.uk/events/motogp12/
i,m going with the family too booked a travelodge for the night before and after as too long a trek for me in 1 day. kids still young or otherwise would be up and back in one go. seen it at donny few years ago and done f1 at silverstone same year. it will be great!
my kids are 6 and 9 how old are yours? I' less than 2 hours away so not far. And if you fancy meeting up ont he day then that would be great with me
havent booked yet, but i go every year, so this will be no different. I go with the wife and my sister and brother in law. Their son may be in tow this year too. We buy the roving grandstand tickets too. I will buy weekend tickets and be there Saturday and Sunday.
mine are 3 and 4 and both love bike/car stuff. thats the reason for staying over on the travelling. yes a meet up sounds good with me. talking of which did the meet up at cullompton go ahead? don,t get on here as much at moment!
That meet did not go ahead. We had a few intRested, ken coming for the Evening but not enought to get a good room discount. But maybe next time.
Ow be nice chaps lol. I'm happy to try and arrange it again it in the future. But need 4+ coming along for rooms etcc... and is always a good night, good food etc.. Right anyone else going to the silverstone Moto GP?
I may go but some of us were not in hospitality and are still drying out from 2011! Bet mr b thought look at those poor suckers in the stalls while he sipped his coco with mr stoner..
True. Fuji once gave me a 'Kiss my Arse' pass for British Touring Cars at Thruxton. It did feel good trying to look down on the great unwashed from the Seat hospitality suite, but the view was mainly spoiled by hot and cold running waitresses.
Its always a "weekend away" thing with my wife, sister and brother in law on the bikes. If I took Adam we would have to go in the car, and to be quite honest, id rather not bother than sit in cues for hours.
Taking the car as i'm going with the wife and my 2 girls so no other way. as for in traffic i'll just have to put up with it. hoping it's worth it as it will be my first experience of moto gp first hand
May be a long day for the wife and kids can't comment on Silverstone but Donnington Traffic was a nightmare you can't win, you get in early to miss the traffic but it makes the day twice as long.
