    Been looking at the guided tours for this trip in July......anyone used any of these companys that organize hotel, tickets etc ?

    Booked through tours are us for tickets only before - bunch of c*nts...Vino rates wheeltrax and been to Germany with them, haven't done it myself...

    Just hit the ferry and go mate, much more of an adventure and sense of achievement doing it yourself!

    Defo rob, we book formula one hotels wherever we go in France, all over the place and only £22 and sleeps three (very cosy) lol

    And there are loads of cheap hotels in Italy... Acorn hotels are decent

    rode 2 years ago, this time flight booked in Jan, £136 rtn inc. 23kg of luggage (= tent, sleeping bag etc.) way quicker and cheaper - fuel so expensive, only 2 days off work - happy days.
