Mugen Seat

    Anyone on here fitted a mugen seat to a CBR1000RR, or any other seat.

    Here is a photo of the Mugen seat it is a Honda part but hard to get from outside Japan.

    That looks really nice, does it soak up water tho if it gets rained on?

    nice.. there was a set on ebay a while ago made from the same material but a guy had his mate cover his oem seat at work. he was an upholsterer for Aston Martin lol

    They only went for 50 odd quid

    yeah that is what it is .. got it in my car to,, very nice but as said above it will soak up water

    Also I'd be wary if you like to do the odd track day cos I had a seat for my 848 done in the same material and I found it quite grippy and harder to quickly slide and move for hanging off a bit, not impossible just that initial body movement when your used to different stuff.

    Perhaps these would help anybody thinking about such a purchase ;)
