In the laughable underseat storage on my RR-4 I've got a small visor cleaning kit, a little pack that contains my mobile, bank card, money, fags, lighter etc, and an EDZ windproof undershirt thingy. This leaves no room for the standard Honda tool kit but it does make me a little nervous riding around with no tools to fix little problems. This was highlighted on Tuesday night when the pillion cowl decided to partially detach itself from the bike I figured that a multi tool might be a stop gap measure but which one has the best mix of tools for roadside repairs? Any of you got one that you could sugggest?
I have a letherman wave that I use nearly everyday. I'm on my third one under warranty (25 year). But I'm very hard on it. I recently bought one of these which I keep in my dirt bike fanny pack (bum bag in Australia!!) Motion Pro multi tool.
Bum bag here as well fella .... Fanny pack really I ask you !! Looks like a good bit of kit as well I had a Gerber when I was out in Iraq used it all the time and it never failed me but Leatherman are just as good IMO if not better
Gerber for me......+ I've got a mini TENG rachet & socket set c/o PB when I took out a subscription a couple of years ago.
Well I've bought a Gerber 600 needle nose thingamajig. I'm sure it'll be fine. Seemed like a good deal so fingers crossed. If it isn't........does anyone want to buy a Gerber multi tool??
I prefer utility belt not fanny or bum bag! Utility belt as in batman!!! My rr5 also has no boot space.
