No mate, but flirted dangerously close with the f4r in 2013 when it came out.... Wanted a test ride but would only let me have it an hour, or £150 for the day.... Never got round to it then done a bit of racing this year and that was that. Dream over.... One day though, one day....
I looked seriously at one when I was selling my Blade as Robinsons of Rochdale (where I got my ZX10) are also MV Dealers. After reading various road tests the conclusion was they look Amazing but are not quite there yet bar the £21K Full Fat version which did receive high praise.
No I haven't ridden one but it was a bit of a toss up between the F4 and the Panigale in 2013. The MV fell at the first fence but only because the Ducati dealer is much closer and the MV dealer was a bit off hand with my enquiry. They didn't seem to careless if I brought one or not. I didn't have the same issue as Jimbo but the whole attitude thing put me off, so I walked. Now Daimler via its AMG arm have taken a share holding I am thinking I might re visit again in the Spring and explore what 'staff' discount I can wangle. The Panigale is sexy as hell but the F4 is on a whole new level up, and that sound.........it almost makes my termi shod Panigale sound like a put put. Staff discount and an attitude change, who knows, you might see on one next summer.
Wants to be for that money but tbh I didn't like the look of it with the white paint (nor could afford it) I think fuelling was the only flaw tbh, but I bet you could sort that out... And pretty sure they bring out download upgrades on it if I rember right? But like you say, prob not quite there.... But jeez man. It really is motorcycle art!
Yes I have had a go but I didn't fit was going to get one got my pension out early as I wanted one so much but couldn't reach the ground and could not tuck my arms in.
Sorry SW but that is simply horrid!! A mv has to be red and silver more than a Ducati or Ferrari is red IMO
