Anyone else here ride MX ? i just started riding it again race mx and sx as a kid , then used it for training but since i moved to Indonesia i had not ridden but i sorted a KTM SFX350 and found 3 nice tracks and a few guys to ride with i have been out every weekend for the last 3 weeks . it is so much fun but dam it is hard on the body i guess i am just getting old anyway here is my KTM
Nice .. People are raving about those 350's , Power of a 450 and weight of a 250 has gotta be a hel of a tool !.
i gave a mate a ride on sunday he has a KXF 250 , he is ordering one asap . They are the perfect bike power to weight ratio is awesome , it is so easy to ride and clearing the doubles tabletops etc is effortless with the extra torque
Awesome . Im due an upgrade . I have a 2007 CRF250 which is getting on a bit now . New KTM's are so pretty swell.
I had a YZ250 which i bought for the winter to train and keep myself in touch, and maybe learn a bit more control for when i got back on track for the season. What i found though was that if i kept it, i wouldn't make it to the season in one piece. I couldn't stay on the thing, literally every time i looked at it, it hurt me! With a screwed knee already (no acl), it was probably the worst thing i could've bought!! She was sold soon after, in Jan 2011, to help pay for a new race bike for last year, and i never missed it!
i love the 2 strokes , i also have a KTM SX250 but it is an animal to ride , its all or nothing when it comes to power and its so much harder to ride that the 4 stroke , maybe you should try a 4 stroke as if you haven't done mx before and go straight to a 250 smoker you will hurt yourself :-}}} i am thinking of sending it over here from Spain as use it for some enduro type riding as i would die riding it on the MX tracks here with all the jumps my SX 250
You got to much money mate lol they look smart bet their so Much fun, this is why I been looking at the SM's I need some MX action in my life
Nice 350. I have got a ktm sx 125 2004. Only been out on it once around apex practice track in Worcester, been playing rugby but will get out on it more soon. Maybe have a go at racing mx loads of tracks and clubs around. Fancy a bit of enduro aswell. Realy good fun but very hard on your body, my shoulders have never ached that much.
