I have collect my blade2016 Very happy with the bike but not the service. They said they would clean it and service it. Dirty an over filled with oil First question It has a non standard rear seat but I can not find anything like it on the internet, carbon type material and hrc lettering. Has anyone seen or got one?
Has that come as an extra as well as the Black Edition seat cowl that should have been on? the one with Honda Racing on the sides? When I picked mine up they couldn't find the oem pillion seat and I wondered if the Black Edition came with one although surely it should. I kept the one from my old Repsol so wasn't an issue anyhow.
Lozzy I am not sure if it is a black edition or not Some things add up and some don’t How do I find out? She went on the back of an 848 and would never get on it again
I've looked at the photo you posted of it a few days ago and yes it's def a Black Edition. The edition bike has.... Wavy Disc's Black high screen Honda Racing Levers Honda Racing seat cowl Carbon fibre rear hugger Yours has also had an aftermarket can fitted ( as has mine) but this will have been an addition added by a keeper at some point.
Mmm the ebay one has everything on for black edition other than the wavy discs which it should have. Not everyone's cup of tea so may have swapped them but it's a cat d so who knows
thanks for your help lozzy the only reason I`m not sure was a clear screen, original little rear hugger and tail light came in a box with it as if some one has just replace the original items. does it say on the log book?
I nearly swapped the seat with another one they had in there, glad I never because as I have said my missus said it was even better than the firestorm to sit on
ps: lozzy do you think the carbon rear hugger looks like a cheap copy or is it just mine? I`m thinking of painting it black
Haha no I think it looks cool...it's a genuine carbon king or summat similar ...I forget which. But if it's not your thing I'd just sell it tbh and buy one you prefer rather than paint it.
No it won't say it in the log book. I can definitely 100% say it's a Black Edition you have. The bits you have are just from the original standard bike which is common.
lozzy I have just had a look at your pictures and your has brembo and ohlins which if I`m right that is a black one, mine has not got brem`s or ohlins
I vill tell you zis only vonce more.... YOU HAVE ZE BLACK EDITION What pics you looking at matey ?!? None of the standard blades have brems/ohlins including my/your black edition.
When you say overfilled with oil, you aren't screwing the dipstick all the way in are you? Where are the pics!
