Hello eveyone! Just wanted to share that my fireblade is back on the road after a engine swap and some other mods done to it. Im so f**king excited. Had my first ride today after a few weeks down time. 2008 blade with the current mods: 2013 engine, gb moto rearsets, red silicon hoses, yoshimura R77 slipon, wave rear rotor, sintered pads, double bubble windscreen, castrol stealth decals, kevlar grips, HEL brake lines front and back, gb racing covers, pegs removed and seat cowl. I love it!
Well done mate. The 2012 onwards engine is so smooth it's unreal Glad you got back up and running again.
Cheers mate, yes i noticed that the new engine was much smoother than my 08. Also, i think my 08 was suffering a bit, because this feels like it got more horsepower. Midrange has definitely improved. Got the neutral light to work too, Colin Thanks for all your help mate!
Yesterday i had one of my favorite trackdays yet. Really progressed and rode with the fast group this time. I got a little to excited, and wore one of my sliders out, and i think i need a new toe slider aswell haha Put Bridgestone S21 on the blade, they did lovely at 30 psi. Sticking like glue. Ride safe everyone
