The 3 plastic moulded spigots on the back of the clocks have all snapped. Anyone know the BESTEST glue in the world I can repair them with? The spigots are threaded for the retaining screws.

Arldite is about as strong a glue as any I've found mate. Still not sure if it would hold the clock though with all the vibrations :(

Thats what I thought. Was also thinking of aralditing the screws in too. ie: glue the spigots on then fill the threaded holes with glue and screw it to the fairing stay before fitting the whole lot back again.

Our electricians swear by double bubble. Sticks pretty damn good to everything.

I just had a quick glance at the heading and nearly read it wrong, thinking jeezo wrong forum for that question ha ha...

Nhs24 or 999 would have been the answer :D :D

I would be using araldite or any other epoxy type glue, should be good once hardened ...

    Just to update the thread.
Blaggers, coming your way are 4 sachets of double bubble one for for each of the spigots, although should get away with one. I've also put some heavy duty Velcro in too, again useful for supporting the clocks, a couple of paper mixing pallets and some what look like lolly sticks but are in fact mixing sticks, ;) although reading Dave d's post above you could probably use them as splints as a little extra support for your knob to help keep the lady really happy. :D

    Cheers Gary.
As for using the mixers as splints, you would have had to post telegraph poles. :D (not....)
