    :(:(
After finally freeing the basket I managed to replace the bent selector shaft retainer clip.....that was easy
however I could get neutral and 2,3,4 but 1st would select but not stay there neutral light came back on once lever was released,
While removing clutch had to take each plate out separetly and reasemble as i didn't have bolts or realise the need to bolt them all together:rolleyes:
So put it back together making sure slipper ramps are correctly aligned. checked with u tube video and honda diagram

All seemed well but when puller was clipped back in place the outer pressure plate could be pulled out 10mm or so by pulling on the puller shaft, this seemed weird.
Put the cover back on......TWAT OF A JOB and after several retry's cant get the cable operated arm to enguage correctly
When you pull the clutch lever its very slack i.e only resistance is the spring in the cover so something aint right.
Ashamedly I have admitted defeat and packed the bike onto the truck to go to garage but I would like to learn from my mistakes and understand how this end of the bike works........please please save my sanity 12hrs of back braking work in the sun to no avail.

    Got sorted
Lad at Will Crazies , Anglesey (road and Trail motorcycles) rides a blade at the same track days as me, he checked fixed it for £50
Turns out I'd done every thing right exept the fiddly order in which you align eveything before the cover will tap back on easily.
Not an easy job and worth spending a few quid if your not fully confident in your blade spannering nouse.

The clutch problems continue as the bike is still pissing oil from the front upper part of clutch cover.
Took it back to the shop and it looks as if a bolt had worked lose to cause leak.
Took it back again and bolt tweeked up everything else checked went for a blast ......still leaking
It seems that the initial loose bolt and leak caused the sealant to to blow out.
So its still being fixed.....fair play in the guys own time!
Should have done it myself with gaffer tape and some gripfill, proper builder style:)
Looks like at this rate I will be doing the track weekend on the Buell, at least its feckin oil tight..........and I'll toast you all coz you will all be deaf and dazed when she's at full chat;)
    AV SOME!!!!
